late last year had helped the album Bavarian Fruit Bread by Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions , fully taking for granted that the disk was essential since pair had disappeared. However, I have the unspeakable pleasure of saying that time had committed a gross blunder, and just recently in the network filter Softly Through The Devil, the new duo formed by Hope Sandoval and Colm O ' Ciosoig .
As they did in that compendium of subtlety and tenderness that was Bavarian Fruit Bread, a distance of eight years, these artists have returned to pool their talents for the sole purpose to weave new songs plethoric of beauty and sweetness. Softly Through The Devil a total of eleven unspeakable sensitive issues, in which Hope again much like the angels sing, and Colm new amalgam has sound, no doubt that dream. And the biggest hit on this album is that, quite contrary to what we usually expect from the work of other artists, no change, or evolution or anything like it, but only find new songs ... Perhaps it is possible to discern increased presence of jazz on some issues, which in any case, it is quite welcome ... Moreover, the proposal remains precious folk music of air marked tiller handle ...

While Thinking Like That violins continue to shine but on a distinctly jazzy structure, There's A Willow piece becomes almost completely and unerringly fresh air. Soon comes the soft rock by Trouble account, but from the hand of the last three parts, Aside Fall, Blue Bird and Satellite , we turn to dip into the wonderful world hopeano , a domain overflowed dreamy melancholy and tenderness ...
