The Replacements Riley Hintie

Wet Cookies - Soul Protection

Wet Cookies Viennese is a group formed in 2006 under the direction of producers Axel Hirn and Björn Klein, in principle, as a small group of musicians united by the love they professed to black music and electronics. Not far from the project's inception more musicians began to cleave to the group, so that today we can say that Wet Cookies is the conjunction of nearly two dozen artists, all skilled at fusing genres Negroid getting all the sound is totally personal, whose line is easily recognizable. Their debut album, entitled Earthling, came in 2007, and two years later, sold out last, presented Wet Cookies their second album: Soul Protection.
Unlike his first album in length, the new work Wet Cookies more passionately embraces soul, but not dismiss the funk, jazz and dub it as well had been deepened and conjugated Earthling. Again, the predominance of organic is patent, thus allowing the intervention of electronics as a mere accompaniment to such an extent that is hardly a presence. The performances of first class singers such as Hubert Tubbs , Ola Egbowon , Ken Boothe , Abisa , Rufina and Frontin Betty Semper have greatly enriched the thirteen pieces of Soul Protection, providing just the amount of energy each. The groove leading the dance excels in areas such as I got Reasons , 1,4,3 , When I fall in love , Something's changing (available in two versions), and Inspired Word up (a classic of the eighties), while the calmness and delicacy I excel in s it really possible , Will you be good, Unwind (available in two versions) and Personal stereo (original of Flunk ) such so that the package offered by Soul Protection becomes comforting on many levels. Without doubt, this is a full proposal suggesting that black music lovers can not ignore ...

Ross Couch - Night and day

It's been a few days without this Suite holds for firsts, so we finally decided to return, in this case, with precious little deep house, which long time no hear around here ... Ross Couch
is a Scottish DJ and producer who had been threatening to release their debut album from Earlier this century, which has come to extend many times for whatever reason. Finally, on behalf of his own label Body Rhythm , last August was releasing his long awaited, which is none other than Night and day.
The masterpiece of this Scottish contains a total of twelve pieces are moving at a delicate deep house sound in the highest degree, a strong dose of soul, jazz and funk. Perhaps pieces such as Lost Without You, People Of The Night , Use Your Loaf or Spaced Out could be out for the rest, but the fact is that, after all, on balance general final sound we realize that all shine equally, as the melodic overtones, the trace and the deep soulful warmth, do not miss any ... Another of its strengths is that, unlike most albums of the same kind, among its topics do not include introductions or interludes of any kind, but all the 4x4 fully addressed without lowering the bpm at any time also say that all were made specially for the album, so it is not possible to find fragments released earlier. Therefore, we can see Night and day as a totally equal, which, of course, not seen any waste ...
